DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Regional Head – Southern Region

Location: Chennai

About the Role:

The Regional Head will be responsible for leading and executing the organization’s export promotion strategies across the Southern Region. This includes coordination with government agencies, member engagement, market development, and event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement regional strategies to enhance exports
• Liaise with State Government departments and industry stakeholders
• Identify international trade opportunities through market research
• Organize trade fairs, seminars, and B2B events
• Support member exporters with guidance on policies, documentation, and market access
• Represent the organization at key forums in India and abroad

Qualifications:

• Age between 40–50 years
• Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Management, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in export-related roles
• Strong leadership, networking, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Indian EXIM policy and local government workings
• Proficiency in English and local language(s)

Remuneration:

Competitive package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
